Dr.Barlee, welcome everyone with the variety Asian Languages. “Apologize for the situation in Thailand about the protest, but you still can enjoy the meeting and shopping. This is good opportunity to come and join together and learn each other experiences. To do the DRR need to work with community and get their heart. We need to do the action, ‘the point is to act’. We talk too much and think too much. So we need to go to the people and get with their hands, knowledge, and don’t worry. They can survive before us and don’t look down at them. Use them as helping hand for DRR work. You have to bring their trust. T is for Transparency. R is for Responsibility. C is for Control and S is Sincere Dialogue.”
Hung Ha shared about the opening session with the DRR Practitioners Workshop History and the objectives why we are here. Addtionally, the social media to be participated with this workshop by #DRRWORKSHOP.
