Act 1
The play starts out with 3 witches that are talking about a plan that turns out to be the theme of the whole story. The background is that there is a war going on between Norway and Scotland, and thanks to Macbeth they have been victorious. Meanwhile the Thane of Cawdor was captured and executed for being a traitor. The king knowing how well Macbeth has been doing decided to make him Thane of Cawdor. The scene is then jumped to the 3 Witches confronting Macbeth and Banquo and telling Macbeth that he will become Thane of Cawdor and then king of Scotland. The witches disappear and Macbeth quickly learns of his new title, which he didn't know before thus fulfilling the first part of the prophesy. Macbeth sends a letter home to Lady Macbeth informing her of what he has learned. King Duncan has ordered a celebration at Macbeths castle, and plans to stay the night there. When Lady Macbeth learns about the prophesy and thinks of a plan that would include killing the king and Macbeth becoming king, she later convinces Macbeth to follow along, and kill king Duncan. At the end, Macbeth is still determined to do this.This tweet Macbeth is speaking. The tweet is representing that he is only human and he might not be able to cope with the things he will have to do to become king. He didn't think when the witches told him that it would take this much work just for it to become king, and hes going to have to get dirty to become king.
Act 2
The act starts out with Banquo and his son talking out on a balcony, Macbeth enters shortly and tells Banquo that they need to discuss about the witches. Banquo says that they will talk later and head off to bed leaving Macbeth alone, waiting to go and kill the king. He hears the bell which was the signal that it was time, and Macbeth goes to kill the king. Right after Macbeth kills the king he starts freaking out, and lady Macbeth is forced to go and finish the job by putting blood over the drunken guards. In the morning, Macduff discovers his fathers dead body and takes the bait and blames the guards for it, which is when Macbeth kills the 2 guards "in a rage". Duncan sons Malcom and Donalbain flee for the fear that they would be blamed for the murder of the king, since they fled Macbeth was given the title of King.
This is a picture of Macbeth after he killed king Duncan and is covered in his blood. This image states that Macbeth is ruthless because he killed a personal friend of his, and someone he was very loyal to. He starts to loose it and gets into a nervous wreck, which is when Lady Macbeth tries to calm him down so that no one will wake up, showing that she has a lot more self control than Macbeth does. This image shows how Macbeth is downright determined to do this, or that it was a mistake.
This tweet is Macbeth speaking. In this tweet he was sitting there right before he had to go and kill king Duncan While he is sitting there he begins to get very nervous and doubting himself. But he soon realizes that this is very important and that he will do whatever it takes to become the king. This shows that Macbeth could have talked himself out of it, but fate has its own way of interfering.
This tweet is in the perspective of Malcom. At this point of the play, Malcolm realizes that something fishy is going on and that he could be next to be killed, which shows that he is smart and quick on his feet. This shows that he is intelligent because he realized he wasn't safe and had to flee.
Act 3
The first scene starts out with Banquo thinking about Macbeth. Banquo is starting to become suspicious of Macbeth for the Murder of the king and all the suspicious things that's going on, and Macbeth starts to realize that Banquo is catching on. Macbeth, being careful Macbeth sends malevolent murderers to kill Banquo and his son Fleance while they are on the road heading to a dinner that was set up for him. The murderers find and kill Banquo, but Fleance manages to escape which means that someone had to explain this to Macbeth. Before the Banquet that was about to go on, the murderers inform Macbeth they killed Banquo, but Fleance escaped. Macbeth then sees the Ghost of Banquo sitting in his seat, and freaks out, screaming and ranting on about weird things making the guests scared and think the kings going crazy. Thinking quick on her feet, Lady Macbeth covers for Macbeths mental infirmity by saying hes prone to having these. Towards the end we know that Macduff has gone to England to ask for an army because of his suspension of Macbeth.
This picture is showing when everyone is sitting down when suddenly Macbeth and Macbeth only sees Banquos ghost. Then he goes on ranting and acting crazy, this is when the guests start to feel nervous and uneasy about Macbeth This shows that Macbeth is only human and that hes starting to loose his sanity with having to deal with the people he has been killing.
This tweet is from Banquo. It is showing that he is smart, hes starting to catch onto what really might be going on. Banquo starts to think that Macbeth might not be trustworthy and doesn't deserves to be king. But before he could do anything he was killed by the murderers that Macbeth arranged.
This tweet is from Macbeth. It is an internal conflict that he is having. He is thinking how things might play out, and that with the new information he learned if he can play fate and change the prophesy or if he will die knowing that Banquos kids will become king. This is the point where Macbeth is realizing how he will fall and that it wasn't worth it.
Act 4
The act starts out with the three witches making a great potion to plot against Macbeth. When Macbeth gets to the witches, they show him the visions. They stated that he should fear the thane of Fife, aka Macduff. Then they say that Macbeth cant be killed by any man born of women, making him feel that hes safe against anyone like Macduff. They go on to say that Macbeth should never be afraid because until Birnam wood and Dunsinane Hill meet he would not be defeated. Meanwhile, Macduff is in England persuading Malcom to help him with going to Scotland and gaining the throne from the tyrant Macbeth. After a test that Malcom pulled on Macduff, he agrees to help take back Scotland by force with the support he got.
