Samedi 23 novembre, notre masterclass au #labdavanac s’est clôturée hier soir. Il est malheureusement déjà l’heure de tirer le bilan.

En arrivant mardi matin, je savais pas grand chose de ce qu’on aller faire . Geeker et fouiller le World wide web? Ca me semblait un bon programme pas trop différent de mes petites habitudes. J’étais pas loin dans la forme, dans le fond je me suis pris une claque.

Tout d’abord un remise en contexte s’impose. La masterclass c’est 4 jours en résidence à Eghezée avec 20 personnes dans la même pièce à passer le web au peigne fin pour dégoter les innovations pour l’observatoire Netexplo. Le but est de défricher le web et de faire remonter les projets les plus prometteurs, les plus innovants capable de changer ou faciliter les us et coutumes de pas mal de gens. C’est une façon de comprendre la révolution numérique et comment les gens s’approprie le World Wide Web. Les meilleurs innovations seront prsentés au Forum Netexplo qui se tient en mars.

Pour mener à bien cette recherche, Damien Van Achter aka @Davanac nous a accueilli dans l’ancienne gendarmerie d’Eghezée et transformée en espace de travail ouvert par @AnathalieTM.

Davanac, une rencontre plus qu’intéressante. Grâce a cette philosophie, on a découvert une autre façon de consommer et de voir le monde virtuel qui nous entoure. Même si tout les éléments étaient déjà là pour que je m’en rende compte, il a donné le dernier coup de pied dans le fourmilière pour que je vois et consomme le web de manière différente. Je pense que c'est lui qui en parle le mieux.

Dans l’optique de #netexplo, il nous a ouvert son carnet d’adresses pour que notre démarche soit la plus efficace. Il nous a entre autres fait découvrir de nouveaux outils tels que feedly un agrégateur de site web (j’en suis accro!).

Revenons à l’objectif de cette masterclass: trouver des innovations. Qu’est-ce que l’innovation, la vraie, celle qui va changer la face du monde? On a tous en nous une petite idée préconçue de ce que c’est sans vraiment la saisir. Pour bien saisir, comprendre et être efficace, on a tenter de définir l’innovation. Définition pas si simple que ca à donner même avec l’aide de conférences TED ou d’intervenants. Grâce au carnet d’adresses de @davanac, des intervenants du monde entier sont venu dans le garage du lab. @fredd della Faille, le fondateur de frontback et check this, un triplex avec Vincent d'instaply à San Francisco et Jérémie de Starwood Hotel à Dubai et @samgoeta, à propos de l'opendata . If it was not played four times, I may not have picked up on their target market. Such an example as this exemplifies the way the media use narrowcasting to target age-specific audiences.

Another consumer-orientated commercial is the "Hump Day" GEICO ad. Obvious attention-grabbers aside, are these commercials really selling us anything?
