The 100th Grey Cup is being held in Toronto this weekend and the Argonauts are vying for the championship. With the event closing in, the city is getting ready for this memorable weekend.
So far, fans have been making quite the scene in Toronto. According to an article by the National Post, Calgary fans were able to get a horse inside the Royal York this morning.
As well, crowds have gathered at Nathan Phillips Square to play some football and get ready for the game. Musicians such as Karl Wolf will also be performing at the square later this week. As well, the city is transforming the square to match the theme of the event.

While its normal for many people to bet on championship games, the CEO's of both the Toronto and Calgary Zoo have decided to bet on something other than money. According to an article from the Toronto Sun, if Calgary wins, the Toronto CEO must clean the giraffe exhibit. But if Toronto wins, the Calgary CEO must wash the penguin exhibit.
All in all, it seems as though Toronto is making a big deal out of the event. There will also be a halftime show featuring Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Marianas Trench which is sponsored by SiriusXM. Stay tuned for further coverage of the Grey Cup on our Twitter page.
