Should sidewalks be put in along Cassopolis Street?

For years we never had sidewalks on Cass, why does everyone need them now. Do you think they will help the people walking? What makes you think a car cant drive up on that sidewalk. I used to ride bicycles or walk down that street every day from CR 6,to get to work at the Cottage Inn.

yes, have a sidewalk on both sides of cassopolis street from beardsley street to county road 6

A side walk would create a safer and more comfortable environment to promote walking. It could also help with enhancing the appearance of Elkhart as well.

There are very few sidewalks on ANY of the streets in this town. Anything to save $$...

Yes I live just off Cassopolis St and people walk it all the time. Now the the Shoppes on Six are being build goot traffic will be heavier.
