MR EXTRAS REACH DOUBLE FIGURES:  South Africa has bowled ten wides so far in the fifth One Day International as Dale Steyn’s radar gun misfires and he bowls one down the leg side. Pakistan is on 171 for eight after 41 overs.

PAKISTAN IN TATTERS AS MORKEL STRIKES:  Pakistan is in dire straits on 162 for eight in the 40th over as Morne Morkel produces a delivery that lifts off a length and Saeed Ajmal drags it onto his stumps. He is gone for 1. Morkel, in his seventh over, has bowled with venom and speed. Junaid Khan walks to the crease.

MCLAREN STRIKES AGAIN:  The in-form Misbah-ul-Haq is caught behind by AB de Villiers off Ryan McLaren for 24 as Pakistan slips to 161 for seven in the 39th over. McLaren softened him up with his previous delivery, a short one that hit him on the arm. McLaren has taken 3-24 in 7.1 overs.

BOOM-BOOM GONE:  Ryan McLaren removes Shahid Afridi for a second-ball duck as he tries to play a pull shot and is caught on the deep square-leg boundary by Colin Ingram. Pakistan is in trouble on 151 for six after 35 overs. It was a wonderful over by McLaren, who captured two wickets in one over.

WICKET FOR MCLAREN:  Shoaib Malik is caught at short midwicket by Farhaan Behardien off Ryan McLaren for 28 as Pakistan slips to 151 for four in the 35th over. It’s a big wicket just before the third power play. Malik did not spot the off-cutter, a slower delivery by McLaren. In walks Shahid Afridi, who boasts a strike-rate of 114.

WAITING FOR BOOM-BOOM:  A Pakistani supporter has the words Boom-Boom painted in green on his upper arm and points to it. Shahid Afridi is a cult hero amongst South African-based Pakistani supporters, and there are plenty of them at Willowmoore Park.

MISBAH GETS GOING:  Misbah-ul-Haq hits a beautiful square drive off Dale Steyn for four. It is his first boundary of the innings, and Pakistan moves to 143 for four after 33 overs. It is a drinks break. Misbah is on 11 and Shoaib Malik on 27. Steyn has bowled superbly, and looks a bit grumpy. He has engaged Misbah in some verbal volleys, but the Pakistani captain has won the latest round.

SHOAB HITS GREAT SIX:  Shoaib Malik resurrects the Pakistani innings in style as he hits a beautiful six over wide long on off Robin Peterson. Malik and Misbah-ul-Haq hits twelve runs in that over and guides Pakistan to 128 for four after thirty overs.

WONDERFUL CATCH BY AMLA:  Younis Khan is back in the hut for 29 after attempting to pull a juicy long hop by Farhaan Behardien to the midwicket-boundary for four. He pulled it, all-right, but Hashim Amla pulls off a magnificent catch at short midwicket and Khan is gone. Pakistan is on 104 for four in the 26th over.
