Recently Japan has claimed that China has had moves on Japanese naval forces. In addition to these accusations they are now claiming Russia has invaded their airspace with two jets. It will be interesting to see how these disputes will play out since China and Russia is part of the five permanent security council in the UN.

The main cause of conflict between China and Japan right now is the islands of East China Sea. Japan wants the powerhouse of China to apologize for supposedly "locking on" Japanese naval forces. This more than likely will not happen because China is not going to openly admit to such things. They may however just shrug off Japans attempts like it isn’t a big deal.
China has refuted the allegations by Japan and claims it is an attempt to defame the Chinese military. These two countries have been at each other's throats over these islands so it is not surprising that they would start trying to start rumors about one another to make them look bad. Japan wants an apology and China is just like "haha yeah right."
Now let’s take a more American view on the situation. This doesn’t really seem like something that is a huge deal however for two countries that kind hate each other right now, they can use it to smear the name of each other. At this point the facts don’t even matter anymore because they have been blown out of proportion which will just make it harder for the two to reach an agreement. (Like that is possible)
Both China and Russia have denied the acquisitions by Japan, almost making Japan look like the bad guy. Funny how China and Russia are both permanent members in the UN and almost like they are working together to smear Japan politically. There could be a number of reasons why China and Russia are doing this; maybe to test the new prime minister?
