8:13pm: Slocum, FX: Whip through to double pike, oh SO much personality in this routine, love! Front full to front pike, very nice. Slid her ankle on the floor in the run for her Rudi but didn't phase her, landed it nicely.
8:12pm: Engler, BB: Solid bhs loso... missed some dance elements but all solid. Cat leap to side aerial, excellent. Gainer pike off the end, good landing. She's had a solid night.
8:09pm: Gowey, FX: nice high double pike to start off, loving the drama in her routine. Hit her dance elements, good positions too. Chest low on double tuck but good landing. Showing off those gorgeous lines here in her choreography. Gator chomp is over her head instead of out front, that's different. 1.5 to front lay, very nice. Great night for her!
8:08pm: Cerio, BB: Missed the beginning again, hate being so far from beam. decent-size bobble on series, but stays on. flexed feet on switch half but hits 180 okay. punch full twist off the end, pretty good.
8:06pm: Boyce, FX: Front double twist to open, a little shuffley on the landing. 1.5 to front lay, dances out of it. Misses her dance elements, yikes! That'll be a start value deduction. Rudi to finish, good.
8:05pm: Hlawek, BB: Solid cat leap to front aerial to beat, missed everything before. Strong ro+1.5 dismount.
8:04pm: After three, Florida leads 148.125 to 147.25. McMurtry still got a 9.8 after her big wobble... side eyeing that one. She's also tumbling in warmups?? Oh no, now they're wrapping her up, okay. In other SEC news, McKenna Kelley is injured at UK/LSU and Edney will replace her in floor lineup. Don't know anything else yet.
7:56pm: Rott, FX: Been looking forward to seeing this one live. Big DLO, but one foot OOB. Dang. Super floaty on front lay to whip half to whip back! Showing off her flexibility and aggressiveness in this choreo, I love it. Double pike to finish, throws her hands up like WHAT at the end. Chest was a little low on her last landing but good otherwise.
7:54pm: McMurtry, BB: Cat leap to front toss, good. Bhs loso, really off but somehow saved it?? Wow. Switch to shush to back hip circle, big crowd pleaser. Full turn fine. Round off double twist, bounce back on the landing.
7:52pm: Slappey, FX: Drama in this routine, oooh big double pike! Dance elements are a little short. Front lay to Rudi, very nice. Double tuck, a little low but solid. Another hit for the Tigers.
7:50pm: Boren, BB: Love that gainer front toss, wow. Bhs loso with a wobble, but stays on. Switch to straddle good. Cat leap to gainer loso, BIG wobble but again saves it. Gainer full with a little bounce. Kudos to her for those saves, but she's giving me a heart attack!
7:48pm: Day, FX: Hip Hip Chin Chin, one of my favorite songs basically ever. Super high double pike! Wow, what a performer she is, and gorgeous split positions too. Front full to front lay, very controlled. She is just radiating energy, holy cow. No freshman nerves whatsoever. High stuck double tuck, but crunched her chest a little. My favorite Auburn floor by far.
7:47pm: Gowey, BB: lovely switch to split, as usual. triple series is solid as a rock, bhs loso loso. cat leap to front aerial, dead on. full turn is good, I love that she actually brings her leg up to passe. Gainer full off the side, hangs onto the stick!
7:45pm: Scaglione, FX: first pass is good, her little charleston choreo is cute but LSU's Hambrick is my favorite charleston routine right now. front full to front lay is good. double tuck, stuck but chest a little low. very good performance from her, being on the road clearly doesn't phase her
7:43pm: Hundley, BB: Missed a little in the beginning, but series is solid, switch side is gorg. Side aerial to back full twist, and another stick!
7:41pm: Becker, FX: Good double tuck to open, double pike is a little lower but still lands it fine. Dance elements are short of split. Her claps in her choreo are cute, her nerves are definitely showing a little on her face. 1.5 to front lay is good
7:39pm: McLaughlin, BB: front aerial to bhs connection was slow, beat to ring stag is steady, side aerial is solid, gainer full, hop back on the landing
7:38pm: Cerio, FX: good double pike, not as high as I saw her do in warmups. dance elements all over 180, love it. wolf jump out of her 1.5 to front lay was short, looked like she wasn't gonna get to her feet after. Rudi is good, love her illusion at the end
7:36pm: Baker, BB: beam music is TIny Dancer, love it. wobble on series, front aerial was good though. surprised herself when she came down too soon from her split half and almost fell, that's uncharacteristic from her.
7:32pm: After two rotations, Florida leads Auburn by eight tenths, 98.875 to 98.075. McMurtry will take the vault title with 9.95 and Hundley will take the bars title, also with a 9.95.
