16.23: Hackersorganisatie Anonymous heeft een video gelanceerd waarin ze wederom de oorlog verklaren aan IS. De organisatie zegt alle digitale communicatiekanalen van IS te willen dwarsbomen. 'IS, jullie weten niet met hoeveel wij zijn.'

Zoals altijd met beeldmateriaal van Anonymous kan die authenticiteit van de video niet worden gecontroleerd.
16.10: Een van de daders van de aanslagen in Brussel stond op een lijst van Interpol. Het gaat om de 27-jarige Khalid El Bakraoui. Dat meldt The New York Times woensdag. De internationale politieorganisatie vaardigde een zogenaamd 'red notice' uit tegen de dader, wat inhoudt dat er wordt gevraagd om de personen te lokaliseren en te arresteren.
15.50: Een platform van 23 moslimorganisaties in en rondom Den Haag verafschuwt de aanslagen en spreken van 'een verschrikkelijke daad tegen de menselijkheid'. Bij het vrijdaggebed zullen de imams stilstaan bij de 'on-Islamitische daden' in Brussel, zegt voorzitter Taheri.
15.34: De Belgische Koning Filip en koningin Mathilde bezoeken woensdagmiddag ook nog het metrostation Maalbeek, waar dinsdag in Brussel de tweede aanslag plaatsvond.
Daarvoor is het Belgische koningspaar al op vliegveld Zaventem geweest en werd tevens een bezoek gebracht aan het Militair Hospitaal, waar veel slachtoffers met brandwonden worden behandeld.
